Newbury, NH-Dexter Burley died on December 15, 2012 from leukemia. He is survived by his daughter, Jane Schoenborn, his son, Benjamin Burley, and four grandchildren.

After he retired as Executive Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Geriatric Medicine Unit, he was Scholar-in-Residence at Colby-Sawyer College.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 52 Gould Road, New London, NH followed by a reception at the New London Inn.
