South Sutton, NH-Scott S. Hodgkins, 89, of Barker Road, died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at The William P. Clough Extended Care Center in New London.

Mr. Hodgkins was born in North Berwick, Maine on January 10, 1923 the son of Earl and Bernice (Spaulding) Hodgkins. He served in the US Army during WWII from 1941-1945 and was a member of the American Legion Post #40. Mr. Hodgkins was a Master Mason in the Masonic Lodge in Pittsfield, ME.

He is predeceased by his first wife, Viola. Members of his family surviving include his wife, Bernecia (Edgecomb) Hodgkins; two sons, Kevin Hodgkins and Scott Hodgkins, Jr.; a daughter, Candice Hurst; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Chadwick Funeral Service of New London, NH is assisting the family with arrangements.
