Newport, NH-Wendy A. Lund, 45, of Sunapee Street, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at her home.

She was born in Aberdeen, MD on Jan. 5, 1967. Wendy graduated from Charlotte Mecklenburg High School, Charlotte, NC and attended the University of NC at Charlotte.

She lived in Franklin, PA before moving to the area 10 months ago. Wendy’s most recent job was as a security guard for Sturm Ruger. A real animal lover, she particularly enjoyed horses and dogs.

She is survived by her twin children, Keely and Tiger Gilbert; her mother and stepfather, Julie and Jack McCarthy of North Sutton, NH; her father, Dennis Lund of Raleigh, NC; her sister, Kim Lund of Matthews, NC and her maternal step grandmother, Bonny Lee of Naples, FL.
