Warner, NH-Stuart H. Howlett, 68, of Kearsarge Mountain Road, died Saturday, May 5, 2012 at his home. He was born in Concord, NH on September 13, 1943 the son of Afton K. and Mahala (Wadsworth) Howlett.
He was a lifelong resident of Warner and graduated from Simonds Free High School in 1961 and earned a degree from the Thompson School of Agriculture at the University of New Hampshire in 1964.
Stuart worked for Agway as an auditor and travelled for them. He ran the Concord store and then worked for Dennis and Jameson, a building supply company. Later he worked for Hoyt Instrument Works in Penacook and then most recently was semi retired while working for Madgetech. He served in the US Army Reserves.
Members of his family surviving include his wife, Marianne (Hanson) Howlett of Warner, NH; two daugters, Ann and her husband, Gary Gambino of Sutton, NH and Samantha Howlett of Mountain View, Hawaii; several grandchildren; two stepchildren, Sheila Jackson and Harry Hansen; a brother, Stephen Howlett of Okinawa; a sister, Jean Banks of Georgetown, MA; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private graveside service will be held in New Waterloo Cemetery, Warner, NH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Warner Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 64, Warner, NH 03278 or to Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, 30 Pillsbury Street, Concord, NH 03301.
