Navarre, FL-Doris (Kirch) Sieburg, 93, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at her FL home.

Doris was the third of four children born to Roy Harrison Kirch and Vera Dieffenbach Kirch and the wife of Donald Kenneth Sieburg, who preceded her in death November 4, 2010.

She was born in Newark, N.J. and attended public schools in Newark. She graduated from Stoneleigh Jr. College in Rye, N.H.

Doris first met Don when she was only eight years old, and he was ten. They married January 16, 1939, and began their family in Moorestown, NJ. When they moved the family to New London, NH, in January, 1949, Doris and Don realized they had found their forever home. By the time Don passed away, they had been married for an amazing seventy-one years.

Doris’s gregarious personality was infectious, and everyone she touched experienced her warmth and zest for life. She was keenly interested in literature and language and continued to read, write and play bridge well into her nineties.

She is survived by twin daughters Judith and Jacqueline and sons, Donald K. (and wife Denise), and Douglas K. She also is survived by her brother, Roy Kirch, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at The First Baptist Church of New London, NH.

Burial will be in West Part Cemetery in New London.
